Our guests are greeted by a Chill Out Specialist, who helps create a guest account which contains basic information, waiver, blood pressure and a short medical history review. This can be done before an appointment to speed up the already quick process.


The guest is shown to a private therapy room, where they remove their outer garments and put on Xcape socks and gloves.

Once changed, the guest steps into the CryoNess CryoSauna and alerts the Chill Out Specialist who will run the session.

The CryoSauna emits a nitrogen mist and is cooled to the guests’ temperature preference (ranging between -160 °F and -260°F), all together creating a consistent, ambient temperature during the two-half to three minute session.

When the treatment ends, the Xcape Studios Chill Out Specialist leaves the therapy room, and the guest changes back into his or her clothes to enjoy feeling all of the benefits Cryotherapy has to offer. Or may enjoy a complimentary steam sauna session and tea.

How often should I get a Cryotherapy Session?


Usage depends upon your reasons for utilizing Cryotherapy. The amount of sessions is also an individual matter.  However, in order to obtain the very best results, it's recommended you use our Cryoness Cryotherapy three times per week, for several months in the beginning. We also suggest you combine our Cryoness Cryotherapy treatment with a massage or some sport activities. After several months, your treatments should be spaced further apart to maintain and improve on your results (once every week).

Are there any health contradictions to Cryotherapy?

Unfortunately there are minimal risks associated with Whole Body Cryotherapy, all of our Chill-Out Specialists are certified to operate the CryoNess. Here is the list of some contradictions:

Severe hypertension (blood pressure greater 180/100)

Acute or recent myocardial infarction

Unstable angina pectoris, arrhythmia Symptomatic cardiovascular disease, cardiac pacemaker

Peripheral arterial occlusive disease,  venous thrombosis Acute or recent cerebrovascular accident, Uncontrolled seizures

Raynaud’s Syndrome, fever, tumor, disease

Symptomatic lung disorders, Bleeding disorders

Severe anemia, infection, acute kidney or urinary tract diseases

Pregnancy, Young age (12 & under)

Cold or Flu

Condition that would make applying cold therapy to a sports injury, Sun damaged skin

Proven sensitivity or adverse reaction to cryotherapy, Cold intolerance

How will I feel after my Cryotherapy session?

To be honest, the results are seen right after the first treatment. Your external skin temperature warms up within five minutes of exiting the CryoSauna. The immediate effects from each session typically last for six to eight hours. Cryotherapy stimulates the body to release endorphins, which are the hormones that make you feel good, and energetic. Pain will disappear, skin will look smoother. Most clients report a better night’s sleep after just one session!

What Should I Bring to my Cryotherapy Session?

All you need for a Cryotherapy session is - you! We provide you with thermal socks, booties, robe, and a pair of gloves to protect your hands and feet.

Here are some tips for a safe, invigorating session:


No Jewelry : Remove all jewelry or body piercings below the neck. The metal will cool faster than your skin. Can’t remove the piercing? Cover it or tape it up.

No Lotion : Lotion may freeze on your skin, making the experience uncomfortable.

For optimum results, we advise exposing as much skin as possible to Cryotherapy. Men can wear underwear, shorts, or anything in order to protect private areas. Women are free to wear undergarments or a bathing suit; however, wearing nothing is an option as well.
